Ventura Tsunami Watch in California
Posted on Sunday, February 28th, 2010Ventura Tsunami Watch in California – Just after the earthquake in Chile and the succeeding tsunami warnings issued by the authorities, here comes another surge of deadly water waves. Just earlier today, the beaches in Ventura California suffered some damages.
The Ventura California Harbor Office stated that their priority as of the moment is to protect lives over property. And despite all the damages that reportedly obtained by the Ventura Harbor, the good news is that there were no significant casualties during the Ventura tidal surge. A Ventura Tsunami Watch is being done by the harbor officials in the affected beaches of California and their main goal right now is to get offshore boats into the harbor. The Ventura tsunami watch will also cover other areas such as the coastal areas of Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. Also check out Ventura Tsunami Damage Updates.
