Top Prospects in NFL Draft 2010Top Prospects in NFL Draft 2010 – NFL 2010 Free Agents – It’s the time of the year again for the annual NFL draft. Thousands of college football players are hoping to make it to the NFL this year and we shall take a look at some of this year’s top prospects. This is taken from CBS Sports website. The top prospects list for NFL Draft 2010 was last updated on March 3, 2010.

Number one in the list of top prospects is Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh. During the NFL Scouting Combine, the Defensive Tackle Suh player was able to outperform Gerald McCoy in most of the drills. Ndamukong’s athleticism was demonstrated when he made a 35.5 inch vertical leap. That is pretty high for a 6 foot 4 inch guy who weighs 302 pounds.

Next to Suh is Tennessee’s Eric Berry who plays as a Free Safety. There has been some debates as to who is a better pick between Berry and Texas’ Earl Thomas. Eric Berry proved to be the better player because of some good points; Berry is faster, more physical and a more reliable open field tackler as compared to Thomas.

The popular defensive tackle, Gerald McCoy, is hanging on the third spot. He’s definitely far more superior than Suh in the star-quality department, with his confidence, story-telling skills and engaging personality. Many scouts are still torn between McCoy and Ndamukong, although Ndamukong gave better numbers in the Scouting Combine, McCoy can still have some edge over the number one prospect in some other areas of the game.

Other names in the list include Oklahoma State’s Russell Okung, Florida’s Joe Haden and Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford. Check back for more updates on the NFL Draft 2010 top prospects.
