The world known Sportscaster Mike Penner has died. This Transsexual sportswriter was found dead at his home. Los Angeles Times has reported that the cause of death may be suicide.

He was a talented writer. He was under controversy when in 2007 he announced he was a transsexual and changes his name to Christine Daniels. He had latter changed back his name to Mike Penner.

He was honored by National Gay and Lesbian Journalists association in 2007, for sharing his life publicly.

His writing was very touching. At one place he has written “It has taken more than 40 years, a million tears and hundreds of hours of soul-wrenching therapy for me to work up the courage to type those words.”
