Paramore’s lead singer, Hayley Williams, is at the center of an internet scandal after posting nude photos to her Twitter account late Thursday night. She inadvertently posted some topless nude pictures on her Twitter account, quickly took them down, but of course on the internet nothing once something is out there it’s out there for good. It had already been picked up by blogs and gossip sites within minutes and they were all across the internet.

The picture that shocked Hayley and her fans appears to be taken by no other than Hayley herself based on the angle. The red-haired songwriter can be seen in the photograph on her back with her top pulled down over her chest. The validity of the picture has not been verified but the 21-year-old vocalist explained that her account got hacked and refused to comment any further. There are people speculating that this was a calculated move to attract attention to the group which is steadily touring this year.

“Well… my night just changed drastically. Got hacked,” Tweeted Hayley Williams.

Hayley Williams formed Paramore back in 2004 in Franklin, Tennessee alongside Josh Farro (lead guitar/backing vocals), Jeremy Davis (bass guitar) and Zac Farro (drums). Since then they have steadily gained in popularity. The band just shot the music video for B.o.B.’s “Airplanes” and Paramore  heads out on tour this summer alongside New Found Glory and Tegan and Sara.

Paramore fans are gathering on Twitter to show support for Williams.
