One of my favourite artists, Drake, also known as Aubrey Drake Graham, has had his album thank me later leaked onto the internet. The album is not expected to be available to the public before June 15th but now millions of fans are hearing his music thanks to people sharing them on sites like Youtube.

Last year, a similar incident happened to Dwayne Carter, also known as Lil Wayne, when over 1 million people had downloaded his album over a month before it went live. That didn’t seem to halt his sales at all though, selling 1 million records in a week and beating out other artists such as P Diddy, Kanye West and Jay Sean.

One of the songs, Find Your Love, was an instant hit with fans on Youtube months before a music video was even released to accompany it. It seems like half the album has been leaked so far and Aubrey must be hoping there’s still something left on the album that fans are yet to hear before it gets out to the masses.
