Texas Election Results 2010 – Perry and White Wins – The elections in Texas has just been concluded with Rick Perry emerging victorious for the Republicans and Bill White taking the Democratic win.
Rick Perry, the outgoing Texas governor, defeated the first female senator of Texas, Kay Bailey Hutchison, by securing 53% of the total votes in the Texas elections. The main priority of Perry will be on new job creation that provided 600,000 jobs for Texas citizens. Bill White, on the other hand, had a landslide victory over his opponent, Farouk Shami. Based on the Texas election results of 2010, White obtained 76.2% of the total Texas votes. White thinks that Texas needs a new governor. For the last 16 years, the Republicans have been in control of the Texas governor seat.
