Last Sept. 12, short-track speed skater J.R. Celski fell to ice at the U.S. trials, clutching his left leg after falling and slicing his thigh to the bone with his right skate.

J.R. Celski had just smacked into a padded wall during his final event at the U.S. Olympic trials for short-track speedskating. He sat frozen for just a moment. What happened is that the tip of his knife-sharp right skate blade had lodged into his left thigh, leaving a gruesome six-inch incision in the quadriceps muscle.

Is it true that J.R Celski crashed? We haven’t confirmed yet if the news is true or not. There are rumors in the internet spreading around about ‘J.R. Celski Crash Video‘. We hope to confirm this right away.

Anyway, Congratulations to Apollo Anton Ohno Speed Skater for his most medals.

In the Winter Games Olympics 2010, Speed Skater Ohno became the most decorated U.S. Olympic speed skater in history. He tied the mark for the most ever by a U.S. athlete at the Winter Games skating to a silver medal and the sixth of his Olympic career in the men’s 1,500 meter final.

This moment was sweet to Apollo Ohno. He just tied with Bonnie Blair for the most medals won by an American athlete in the Winter Olympics. He called his performance “cherry on top of my sundae”.

Ohno has three more chances to break Bonnie Blair’s record.

OMG! There’s a human being able to do a ‘720 Dunk‘. It looks to impossible, but reality has it. He just did a 720 dunk. He has the air time capable to do the historical ‘720 Dunk‘. Taurian Fontenette is known as the “The Air Up There“, and he performs a 720 dunk at an AND1 game in 2006. He is now the winner of the Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown featuring the top amateur dunkers and judged by LeBron James, Darryl Dawkins, and Drake. Although he didn’t break out his trademark 720 dunk, Taurian Fontenette did manage to win the contest.

The Pinoy Power 3/Latin Fury boxing event held at the Las Vegas, Nevada has ended. The Filipinos won the series fights of having 3-2. It was sad for the Filipinos to lose the 2 fights though.

Nonito Donaire won the fight in 3 rounds. Manuel Vargas was knocked out at the 3rd round due to Donaire’s uppercut punch combo. To be honest, the fight was not satisfying at all. Donaire’s opponent shouldn’t be Vargas, but since the one that should be did not qualify for the checkups, then Vargas was put to the lineups.

It was bad news that Gerry Penalosa lost to his opponent, Erik Morel. He got a head-butt that made his upper eye side bleed. Despite that, he managed to put up a good fight. He even made a Erik Morel won in split decision. If only he avoided the head-butt, he might have won the battle. The final judges’ scores were 98-91, 96-93, 97-92.

Ciso Morales got knocked out on the first round. He was punched on his ribs by Fernando Montiel. He did not managed to stand up because of the pain. We hope that he hone his skills for a rematch.

The battle of Mario Santiago vs Bernabe Concepcion ended with Bernabe Concepcion as the victor. The result score 98-91, 96-93, 97-92 by unanimous decision in favor of the Pinoy boxer, Bernabe Concepcion. Mario Santiago got knocked down in 6th round, but got recovered.

Mark Melligen also won over Raymond Garcia. That makes 3-2 in favor of the Pinoys.

We hope for the upcoming of Manny Pacquiao on March 13, Saturday night on Pay-Per-View. He will be battling Clottey on the 13th.

Before the commencing of the Vancouver Olympic Games 2010, the European from Georgia Nodar Kumaritashvili died in the final training session of the lugein Vancouver. He died of an accident. Nodar Kumaritashvili died instantly after hitting the metal rod beside the track.

He was taken to the hospital. Later, the officials confirmed the death of the Georgian Luge player, Nodar Kumaritashvili.
It is only hours til the opening ceremony of the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games 2010. If only luch was on his side, and precaution was given more effort.

Lang gave a stunning performance of Leonard Cohen’s song “Hallelujah“. k.d. Lang’s performance gave an extreme impact to the audience of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies.

Kathryn Dawn Lang, or k.d. Lang was born on November 2, 1961. She is a Canadian pop and country singer-songwriter. k.d. Lang has won both Juno Awards and Grammy Awards for her musical performances. She is also known for being a vegetarian, an animal rights advocate and openly homosexual.

Bryan Adams, Sarah McLaughlin and Nelly Furtado also performed in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Opening.
