Is there really a Sleeping Beauty? I bet that only happens in Disney. But upon hearing from the news, I just can’t believe it. Sleeping beauty really exists made possible by the sleeping beauty syndrome. Sleeping beauty syndrome is officially named as Somnophilia. It is a disorder of sleeping for a very long time, as in exaggerated, like 3 days or more.
Our reality sleeping beauty today is Louisa Ball. She has this sleeping beauty syndrome, and has been sleeping for 13 days. I know it’s too much for her. She misses a lot from school, and other events. Aside from that, sleeping beauty syndrome has no cure at all. They say that it simply clears up after 8-12 years of suffering from it.
Psychological troubles is the typical cause for this sleeping beauty syndrome. That is a guess, but there’s no known reason for this syndrome. Louisa Ball may experience sleeping beauty syndrome from time to time, so her parents let her use the bathroom before letting her sleep and force food on her to maintain her health.
I hope Louisa Ball can get over with this syndrome, or at least diminish the chance of experiencing it from time to time.
