An accomplished singer, pianist, composer, songwriter and an actor from New Orleans, Louisiana, Joseph Harry Fowler Connick, Jr. was born in September 11, 1967. Both his parents used to be practicing lawyers, his father Joseph Harry Fowler a retired district attorney and her mother Anita a judge. His marriage to former model Jill Goodacre in 1994 bear three wonderful daughters – Georgia Tatom, Sara Kate and Charlotte. His family lives in Connecticut.

Everyone knows the exciting adventures of Wyatt Earp, an iconic figure in American folk history. But very few have got the chance to know about the extraordinary past of Earp’s loyal best friend, the infamous and dashing Doc Holliday. In Jack Kincade’s new novel entitled Fighting for Air, The Unknown Adventures of Young Doc Holliday, these unwritten chapters of one of the Wild West’s greatest real life heroes is finally told.
John Henry (Doc) Holliday was born on August 14, 1851 from an affluent German family. He began working as a dentist in Atlanta soon after he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree on March 1,1872. But shortly after beginning his dental practice, he was diagnosed with tuberculosis, (“consumption” was the term in that era). His physician advised him to move to a drier place and that brought Holliday to southwestern United States.
His youth was a series of swaggering, witty conflicts, and had a penchant for getting out of the trouble that frequently visited. Standing about five feet, ten and weighing about 130 pounds, Doc was well known for his friendship with a somber young Deputy Marshal named Wyatt Earp and his participation at the O.K. Corral legendary gunfight. He was a reputed gambler and a gunman, an outlaw.

Most people think “quidditch” is just a game played by wizards in a famous book series Harry Potter and such, or maybe the name of a racehorse, but a new Harry Potter-themed deli in Manitoba, Canada, has added a whole new quidditch to the dictionary.

Quidditch in canada is a Sandwich, Indeed, A sandwich made up of pickles, mayonnaise, radishes, alfalfa spouts, and wild moose meat. The restaurant also features a Hermione pretzel bar, a Rumpelstiltskin martini, and Dumbledore meatball marinara wraps and that ever so famous Quidditch.

This Quidditch is not your semi-contact sport played by wizards and witches around the world. Matches are played between two teams of seven players riding flying broomsticks, using four balls and six elevated ring-shaped goals. But I guess Harry would want some of this Quidditch Sandwich after the game.

On April 6, 2001, Anne Sluti was walking to her car at the mall when a man grabbed her and forced her into his Suburban and hit several times until she blacked out. Anthony Steven Wright, widely known as Tony Zappa, bound her with chains and duct tape and raped her repeatedly during the ordeal. Eventually, they ended up in Montana where Zappa broke into several cabins. Sluti left behind clues, including notes.

She even pretended to call a friend and contacted her mother. Later she managed to call 911. Meanwhile, her parents pleaded for her safe return.

Wright held Sluti captive for six days before he surrendered after a 10-hour police standoff at a remote cabin near Rollins, Mont. Wright received life sentence and a restitution for totaling for almost $40,000

They are the Rajasthan Royals VS King XI Punjab to be held at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur and the Kolkata Knight Riders VS Delhi Daredevils to be held at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Beijing – 115 people trapped for a week in the flooded coal mine has been recued.  The officials said the 153 workers were trapped in the unfinished Wangjialing mine in Xiangning, Shanxi province, with 38 miners still missing the search and rescue is still on the go.

The survivors condition is said to be stable, for about eight days and eight nights the 115 survivor forced to eat bark from the pine wood in construction to be able to live. The survivors were cheering and clapping for the rescuers who tirelessly work day and night to save them. China news said that the rescued survivors were weak but lucid and able to speak despite the ordeal to be able to recognize by the doctors.
