Everyone is asking, ‘What is passover?’. We don’t know the deep meaning behind the holy event of the Passover. To define Passover, it is a Jewish and Samaritan holy day and festival commemorating the biblical event of the Hebrews’ escape from enslavement in Egypt.

Passover begins on the 15th day of the month of Nisan (equivalent to March and April in Gregorian calendar), the first month of the Hebrew calendar’s festival year according to the Hebrew Bible. (from Wiki)

The Passover Story is commemorated now that Passover 2010 is approaching. We look behind what has happened as the Holy Week comes for us to be reminded of HIM.

In the narrative of the Exodus, the Bible tells that God inflicted ten plagues upon the Egyptians before Pharaoh would release his Hebrew slaves, with the tenth plague being the killing of all of the firstborn, from the Pharaoh’s son to the firstborn of the dungeon captive, to the firstborn of cattle. The Hebrews were instructed to mark the doorposts of their homes with the blood of a spring lamb and, upon seeing this, the spirit of the Lord passed over these homes, hence the term “passover”.

In the first big match for WrestleMania 26 Sheamus went down and out as the winner of the match was Triple H.  Sheamus. Triple H found himself in a tight spot when Sheamus got him with The Game but Triple H was able to get out of that sticky situation.

In a surprising move, WWE booked Jack Swagger to win the Money in the Bank ladder match in the third match of tonight’s WrestleMania 26 Pay-Per-View. Swagger now has one year to cash in a WWE Title or World Heavyweight Title match against the current champion at the time.

Throughout the match, WWE teased Intercontinental champion Drew McIntyre, Evan Bourne, Matt Hardy, Dolph Ziggler, and Christian as potential winners.

Mysterio overcame interference from Serena and Luke Gallows, tossing Punk into Luke and setting up for his 619 and springboard splash. It surprisingly giving Mysterio the victory in a fairly short match.

Wrestlemania is here once again. The live broadcast of Wrestlemania26 will be aired at 8PM EDT and can be watched through Pay per View.

WWE Wrestlemania 26 had officially started in Phoenix, Arizona with several matches already decided. The opening match composed of Tag team champions The Miz & Big Show defending against John Morrison & R-Truth. Their match were followed by Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes vs Ted Dibiase in a Triple Threat match.

The Money in the Bank Ladder match is on-going now. A set of other matches would include John Cena vs Batista for the WWE Title, Rey Mysterio vsCM Punk, and Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon in a No Holds Barred match. The main event will be the fight between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels in a “Career vs. Streak” match.

Christians all over the world are gathering in different churches to celebrate the Holy Week. Holy Week is described by the Christians as the event of commemorating the triumphant of  our lord Jesus Christ.

Palm Sunday is the start of the Holy Week, it is an event that all of the Christians are are bringing their palm leaves for the priest to blessed it. Everyone in the church will receive their palm crosses through the Holy Eucharist to allow the congregation of their palm. The palm symbolizes a road  for Jesus to walk in.

The story of the Palm Sunday was about Jesus when he came back to Jerusalem and lots of people was greeting him by waving palm leaves with happiness, because they recognized Him as their ruling king.

Tonight is the night for the Welterweight Championship of UFC 111 to be decided. Georges St-Pierre will be fighting Dan Hardy for the Welterweight Championship fight. UFC 111 St-Pierre vs. Hardy is scheduled today, March 27, 2010 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Considering the record of Georges St-Pierre of 19-2-0, Dan Hardy will have a hard time defeating the defending champion, Georges St-Pierre. Hardy is taller than St-Pierre by 3 cm.

UFC 111 Mir vs. Carwin is also about to start. Tonight is also the night for the Interim Heavyweight Title Championship of UFC 111 to be decided. Frank Mir will be fighting Shane Carwin for the Welterweight Championship belt.
