American Idol 2010: Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell Fight Updates
Posted on Thursday, March 18th, 2010Tonight during the results show, Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell took shots at each other yet again. Tonight’s drama was a continuation of last night’s tense, awkward moment when Ryan got in the face of Simon when talking about Michael Lynche.
Well, of course they couldn’t just let it drop and chose to give us yet another tense, awkward moment. It all started tonight when Ryan went over to Simon, kinda asking for trouble. Simon said, “Want to get the eyeballing out of the way?” and it was on. Simon said that Ryan was aggressive and shouldn’t cross the line. He said it was uncomfortable, but said they were friends. He still told Ryan not to “do that again”.

Do you really think its a fight or just for ratings. I just think that since they are both big time producers they wouldn’t want to have bad blood since they will inevitably be working on projects together in the future if not already doing so. Makes me wonder who would be a better match for Seacrest when they replace Simon. I personally think it would be funny if it were Kanye West but I hear it might be Jamie Fox who would definitely get along with Seacrest. Thats what I’m really going to miss next year when Simon leaves. Its part of the show and I think its funny as hell when they get into it. I also think it was good that Ryan called him out. That statement was very hurtful and sometimes Simon does cross the line and its good for him to hear it.
